October’s doctor spotlight shines on Dr. Christian A. Prada. We asked Dr. Prada a few questions to help you get to know him a little better!

What is the most exciting part about being a surgeon at St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery?
Dr. Prada: For me the most exciting part of being a Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon is the gratification I receive after making my patients feel better about themselves. I also love that am I able to mix my love for the Arts and Sciences since Plastic Surgery really requires an artistic skill not found in other fields of medicine
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Dr. Prada: I’m quite a family guy, so I spend my free time with my wife, Amy and my two boys, Jackson and Wesley. My sons are active in sports, so many weekends are spent watching soccer and lacrosse games. Exercise is important to my wife and I as well, so we regularly go to the gym or jog outside to stay in shape. I am an avid reader and enjoy a good suspense novel, and more recently I have taken up target shooting which I find, ironically, very relaxing as it allows me to clear my head and focus on the target.
Describe your typical Saturday.
Dr. Prada: My typical Saturday has me wake up and run to get my first cup of coffee! I then go to the gym and get ready for the day. The day may include watching my sons sports, watching baseball or football on TV, reading my books by the pool or swimming. Amy and I really like going out to eat so we find date nights to be very special to us.
