DR. CHRISTIAN A. PRADA
One of the guiding principles Dr. Prada follows as a plastic surgeon at St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery is to always treat patients as if they were family members.
About Dr. Prada
Dr. Prada joined the practice in St. Louis after training with distinguished plastic surgeons Scott Spear, M.D., and J. William Little, M.D., at Georgetown University Hospital.
“I feel humbled by my profession,” Dr. Prada says, “because I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love to do every day, yet at the same time, I respect the potential risks that can come with any surgery.”
Most plastic surgeons are attracted to the combination of art and science that defines our field. I know that’s what attracted me to plastic surgery. I also love that our results can be subjectively graded, unlike most surgical fields where you are either fixing something or cutting it out!
Dr. Prada’s most vital mentor in life has been his father. He emigrated to the U.S. from Colombia and worked hard to get his degree from MIT and a Ph.D. from Syracuse University. He helped raise two sons and a daughter while getting an education. He constantly stressed the value of hard work and dedication.
Dr. Prada also credits Dr. Scott Spear as a mentor from a professional standpoint. Dr. Spear, ASPS past President and Georgetown University Hospital Department of Plastic Surgery founding chair, gave Dr. Prada the guidance, confidence, and surgical skills needed to become successful.

From my first consultation to my latest post op visit Dr. Prada and his entire staff were knowledgeable, informative and friendly. I had an idea of the final look I was going for and Dr. Prada was able to make it happen! His professionalism puts you at ease from the moment you meet him and the final results he achieves for you are second to none!
This was such an easy process. I told the doctor the look, shape and size I wanted. He ordered three sizes. The day of surgery I told him to use whatever size he saw for because I trust him. Absolutely outstanding choice Dr. Prada!! If you go any other surgeon besides him... you’re making a huge mistake.
