Dr. Christian A. Prada

Training & Education

Dr. Prada studied science at Cornell University before earning his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Sciences Center. He then completed his residency in general surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Next for Dr. Prada was a plastic surgery residency at St. Louis University Health Sciences Center and a prestigious fellowship in breast and aesthetic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. During this time, Dr. Prada trained under world-renowned plastic surgeons Dr. Scott Spear and Dr. J. William Little and collaborated with them on their leading research on the art and science of breast surgery.

Professional Activities

Dr. Prada is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has also served as president of the St. Louis Area Society of Plastic Surgeons and is active in both regional and national medical societies.

Some of his notable professional memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Missouri Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, and the St. Louis Surgical Society.

Dr. Prada also holds an adjunct clinical faculty position at St. Louis University, where he is involved in resident and medical student education. His expertise in facial rejuvenation has also led him to teach a course for physicians on blepharoplasty, brow lifts, and mid-facelifts.

Patient Philosophy

One of Dr. Prada’s guiding principles as a plastic surgeon is to always treat patients as if they were family members. He states, “If I wouldn’t do it for my wife, sister, or mother, I wouldn’t do it for my patient.”
