BOTOX COSMETICS

WHAT IS BOTOX?
Botox Cosmetic temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity by working beneath the surface. Facial wrinkles are caused by the repeated muscle contractions that happen when you squint, frown, or raise your eyebrows. Botox Cosmetic works to smooth these lines for a better appearance
BOTOX OF THE MASSETER MUSCLE
Performed by Dr. Deniz Sarhaddi
BOTOX TREATMENT AREAS
- FOREHEAD LINES
- CROWS FEET
- FROWN LINES
- NECK
- MASSETER
- CHIN DIMPLES
These lines are caused by the repeated contracting of your forehead muscles when you raise your eyebrows. When the skin furrows and folds, the lines are formed. Botox in this area helps to temporarily smooth and create a better appearance.
Crows’ feet or “smile lines” are caused when you smile or squint. The repeated contraction of muscles causes these lines. Botox is injected into this area to temporarily smooth these lines.
Frown lines are created between your eyebrows when you frown or concentrate. Botox is able to treat and smooth these lines for a better appearance.
We also offer “NeckTox” or Microtox. Microtox is a treatment used to make the skin look smooth, poreless, and delicate. Unlike a normal Botox treatment, Microtox injections are performed under the superficial layer of skin and do not affect the muscles. With the injection, the skin begins to look tighter and smoother. Microtox is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pore size, and even improve skin texture. We treat the entire face neck and décolleté.
The Masseter muscle is the muscle responsible for chewing. Treatment of this muscle slims your face and also helps with the grinding of teeth.
Dimpling of the chin may occur with age. Botox is injected into the chin to temporarily smooth and limit the muscle contraction of the chin.
BOTOX RECOVERY
You may resume all normal activity after a Botox treatment. Remember to keep your head above your heart level for 8 hours after treatment.
Two weeks after your Botox appointment, your results should be fully present and this is the time when you can add more units if needed.
Three to four months in, your Botox treatment starts to wear off and you are ready to schedule your next appointment.

LIP FILLER
Performed by Nurse Injector Tim Kaplan, RN, BSN
FILLER TREATMENT AREAS
- LIPS
- CHEEKS
- CHIN
- LINES
One of the most common filler treatment areas is the lips. Filler of the lips gives subtle volume and enhances the shape of the lips giving patients a full and natural appearance.
Filler is injected into the cheeks to restore volume that has been lost due to age. Filler is injected to lift sagging skin and restore volume for a younger looking appearance.
Filler also smooths lines. Filler is injected into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.
FILLER RECOVERY
HA Filler requires no downtime. You will be able to resume your normal activities with the exception of working out, exposure to UV light, high heat, and you should avoid alcohol consumption for up to 12 hours after treatment. You may feel numbness for a few hours after treatment due to the topical anesthetic. Bruising is possible and you will experience some swelling and tenderness in the area of filling. The swelling can last up to two weeks, and bruising should start fading over 7-14 days.
After two weeks, the HA filler has integrated into your tissues and you should start seeing your natural-looking results. You will also come in for a follow-up appointment to address any issues or add more filling into areas that need more.
At one month, patients look and feel pretty great with some residual swelling.
