What Is Microneedling Recovery Like?

We use a numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout your procedure. After treatment, your skin will likely be red and sensitive—similar to a sunburn. These side effects generally subside within 1 to 3 days, during which time we advise you to avoid direct sunlight.

Your results will take time to develop as the new collagen is created. Most patients see improvements gradually over 2 to 3 weeks and enjoy their results for around 6 months. An initial series of treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is usually recommended, with follow-up sessions once or twice a year to maintain and enhance your results.
